Part 3

I walked down the hall with Zane and put my things into my locker. As Zane and I walked to the Cafeteria, another hedgehog came by and shoved Zane.  "Hey, watch where you're going dude…"  I glared at him, while Zane sighed. "What's wrong?" Zane shrugged then walked along to the cafeteria line. I joined him and we didn't say a word to anybody or each other.  As we got our lunch, Macaroni and cheese, we I walked along to find a table. Zane was left behind because of the line. He was about to join me once a wolf got into his way and smashed his Mac and cheese all over the wolf. "Oh no I am so sorry!" the wolf growled at Zane and said, "you're gonna pay for that." Out of nowhere, the wolf swung his arm to hit Zane, but he missed. I stared at them hoping nothing would happen.
The wolf kept trying to get Zane to take a hit but unlike the wolf, Zane had lightning speed. "Ack! Why won't you stay still??" he swung his arms madly and eventually actually hit Zane. The wolf grinned looking at the red mark on Zane's muzzle. I got very nervous then ran to the wolf and Zane. "c'mon, let's not get carried away here…"  Neither of them heard me while there was a crowd around them cheering on for the fight.  Zane tried to stay calm, but his anger had taken over. He somehow gave a huge shock to the wolf making him faint as well as Zane.
I caught Zane and brought him to the table I was sitting at. Using my pointer finger, I poked Zane giving a slight shock to wake him back up. "What lightning?!" I gave him a puzzled look as Zane told me what happened. "Then I woke up and saw you..." I thought for a moment, but couldn't think of what to say. So I shrugged. "Light?"  I looked at Zane "yeah? What is it Zane?" He looked down, then back at me. "My name…isn't really Zane."  I gave him a really confused yet surprised look.  He looked at me nodding. "Then what IS your name?"   I asked.  He looked around him to see if anybody could hear, then looked back to me. "It's….Lightning."
