Chasing after Love Part 3

The Next day, I had nothing to do, and I noticed that I haven't seen Chase in a while since yesterday. So, I journeyed off to go and find him. It would make my day more interesting, and it was a great day to be outside. I left my house, and ran to I last saw him, the town square. Was he mad at me that i kicked him? Or when i said he had bad gadgets so he could run? I don't know, but i hope he wasn't mad at me. I reached town square, and there was no sign of anybody. "Is everybody gone?" I asked to nobody, and all that responed was the silent wind. "Why is nobody here?" I thought, and I turned around, and ran back to my house, and walked into my sister's room. "What are you doing?? Get out of my room!" Light would scold me, but i just ignored her complaint. "Why isn't there anybody in town square?" I asked, and she shrugged. "I don't know, maybe there's some kind of festival and everybody went to it." I thought about it, and thought it could be true, but everybody?
It was getting dark, and I headed home. I would finally see somebody else's face. I didn't know them,  but it felt better seeing that i wasn't the only one alive. I continued on home and walked through the door to seeing my sister, brother, Lightning, and Chase sitting in the living room, laughing about some joke i didn't hear. I felt slightly better since my family was there. Lightning wasn't my brother or cousin or anything, but he was close enough to being one of those things. Chase was just a friend, even though i had a small crush on him. "What's so funny?" I asked, and Light wasn't answering, since she was catching her breath. Zap, he couldn't tell me. It was like the joke was about me or something. Lightning was elbowing Chase to tell me.
"Tell her Chase! It's hilarious Gina." I stared at Chase, waiting for him to answer. "Fine, fine. So, I was walking and this girl..." Light and Zap were laughing their heads off knowing the rest. I rolled my eyes and continued to listen. "...She was trying to find me and saw a statue of Sonic, and she was talking to it. I happened to be behind it, and i started talking back. It freaked her out quite a bit, and then once she got close enough, i walked off laughing." He was smiling, while everybody else were dying. "Yeah sure, she tackled me, but it was totally worth it. Such a stupid girl-" That was enough. I ran all the way to my room in a storm, considering my speed. I was pissed. I locked the door behind me and sat on my bed. Making fun of me, It's not like i'm stupid..but i sure did seem like it...If he tells it was me, he's going to be dead before he tells another soul.. I heard them all laughing and Chase repeating it over and over, my eyes were dripping wet tears off my face. I've never felt bullied before, but this must be close...
