Chasing After Love Part 1

I was walking home, with the wind pushing my hair behind me, and all of a sudden, a boy, my age, and very attractive had saw me. He looked astonished. He ran to me, and said "Hey!!" I faced him, and replied "hi." I bet he was one of the richer kids down the block. With all his cool gadgets and works. What would he want with me? "I'm Chase." he smiled, and kissed my hand softly. I blushed, and I asked "a gentleman, are you?" he smiled and nodded. His teeth were perfectly straight and white, and he had a dark brown hair color. Stupid, perfect, wealthy kids I thought. "never thought I would meet such a beautiful girl on a night like this." he complimented. I had red cheeks, and he could notice. I smiled, and next thing i knew, he had his hands shaped around my face, and his lips on mine. I was completely caught off guard, and my face was flustered red. He pulled back, and my knees had weakened, almost having me fall down.
"Well, see you around." he turned, and started to leave. He really thinks he can win me over with one of the most magical kisses i have ever had, and just walk away? Course not. Im seeing what his problem is. "um...W-wait!!" I begged. He turned around, and he had a questioned face. "W-what was that for?" I stuttered. "Such a perfect girl, should have a perfect kiss for once." I almost hugged him. But I stood my ground, with a nervous laugh. "oh..okay. Well, bye!" I said, and walked off. I thought about that kiss, and how kind he was. I spun around, and ran to Chase. I pecked a kiss on his cheek, then sped to my house. I went to my room, and got my pajamas on.
My window was open, but who would see me? A bird? A squirrel? So I finished up changing, and sat on my bed. I heard a thud from my window, and there he was. The guy with the special clothes and smooth talk. I screamed, and he walked to me, and sat next to me on my bed. Really close. "uh...can I help you??" I asked. "what was that kiss on my cheek for?" I wanted sleep, not romance. At least tomorrow. "because you seemed nice...." I answered. "Ah. I see." he said, and once again, he gave me another kiss. But this time, I had my hands on his shoulders, and I returned the kiss. We pulled back, and he smiled at me. We then collided our lips together again, and he had his hands on my hips.
I pulled back, cautioned of what he was trying to do. "Stop trying to get me to like you. I know what you're doing." I stood up, avoiding his charms. He stood up, and stood behind me, very still."And I know what you're doing. Trying to run away, because you don't want to have a relationship. Scared, of being hurt." he held my hand. "You don't have to do that though." I shook him off, and looked away. "I have been hurt already, and i don't want to have that feeling again." and I sat in a chair. "Just go. Stop wasting your time. Im not worth it." I layed back, staring at the plain ceiling. "Fine. I'll go. But you really are worth it. I can tell." He walked to the window, and hopped out. Walking back to my bed, I was smiling ear to ear. And I tucked myself deep into the mattress and blankets. My dreams, I didn't have any. At least I could never remember. But I had made a substitute. I made my own dreams, like daydreaming, but at night. I had thought about Chase, he seemed to really like me. I still dont get how I was so appealing. My hair? Coat? Attitude? Whatever it was, it was very intriguing. And he was great. His smile, clothes, face. And his hair had been all over his head and face, but perfectly in place at the same time. I would do anything to see him again.
"Wake up!! Can't believe I'M the one telling you. Im going to Lightning's and Zap's coming with. So you'll be alone." "hmm?" I ask, and she rolls her eyes. "you're on your own today!!" she screamed in my ear, and I woke with a shiver. "I got it I got it!!!" I sat up, and started dressing myself. "Fine. Bye." and she left. If you dont know her, she's my sister, Light. And Lightning, is her boyfriend. She's younger, and im surprised im still single. But I dont need a boyfriend. I got myself. I finished getting dressed, slipped on my shoes, and headed to the park. There was plenty of grass, and practice for me to run. I was born without Lights weather powers, or Zap's lightning. I just had speed as fast as their lightning. I have raced Sonic a few times, but he always wins by the last second. That's why I still train. I ran across the field, and back, and around. And I started jogging backwards. I barely looked back, and I was perfect. Almost as good as Sonic could do. I closed my eyes, and continued running.. "Watch out!" I heard, but the voice was too late to dodge. I rolled over them, hurt myself, and them pretty bad too. "I'm so sorry! I couldn't hear until I fell..." I paused mid-sentence. "Chase?!" I passed back and forth, really fast. "Nice to see you too. Uh...you never told me your name?" I rolled my eyes. "Gina....." and started running again. I circled the fox multiple times, then he disappeared. Ignoring his little magic trick, I kept running, going faster. I blinked, and then saw Chase running by me on my left. I skidded to a stop, and just stared in awe. "what? You won't talk to me, so might as well catch up." "H-how....you..you run??" I managed. He nodded, and I held my hands to my forehead.
